Royal Air Force Air Cadets 1113 Squadron!

1113 Berkhamsted Squadron
Air Training Corps

Here at Berkhamsted air cadets we invite boys and girls from the age of 12 to 17 years old to participate in a range of engaging and challenging activities. Berkhamsted squadron is one of 30 in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire and air cadets can be found anywhere in Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales. So it’s a great chance to join a wider group of young adults all over the UK.

Our Activities

As well as flying, gliding, shooting and marching, Berkhamsted squadron also offer Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, First Aid qualifications, BTEC’s, adventure training and a whole range of sporting opportunities. From sunny Gibraltar and Cyprus to more local RAF Benson and RAF High Wycombe, we offer a range of annual week-long camps that bring about the more serious side of the Air Training Corps while still having fun and enjoying military life.

We offer a friendly and supportive environment where cadets can be part of a group and take part in teambuilding exercises. The activities at Berkhamsted Air Cadets are diverse and, aside from enjoying them we also encourage a pro-active nature so that cadets can learn something from them. Learning about strategy, maintaining cool in tense situations and other life skills can be built up in the safe environment at Berkhamsted ATC.
